Non-orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA)

Although NOMA can be any multiple access with non-orthogonal subchannels, NOMA in 5G can be characterized by systematic exploitation of power difference for multiple access. Compared with orthogonal multiple access (OMA), NOMA can provide a higher spectral efficiency at the cost of high receiver's complexity to deal with co-channel interference.
